Volunteer knitters and crocheters donate their skills and yarn to make prayer shawls and scarves.

The prayer shawls are then blessed during a church service. Shawls are given to those experiencing challenges in their lives, like chronic illness, surgery, death of a loved one, cancer treatments, etc. The individual is wrapped in the comfort and warmth of the prayer filled shawl as a reminder of God’s love.

We also knit and crochet scarves to share with those who are unhoused or out in the cold during the winter months.
